178th Anniversary of the Carabinieri Charge in Pastrengo: A Tribute to History

Pastrengo commemorates the 178th anniversary of the Carabinieri Charge with a series of events that blend memory and community involvement. From April 25th to May 30th, 2026, a diverse calendar of activities pays homage to this historic feat of arms and its significance for the region.

The program includes sports, music, and guided tours. It begins on Saturday, April 25th, with the youth tournament “The Charge of the Little Footballers,” followed in the evening by the patriotic-Risorgimento concert of the Sona Band. On Sunday, April 26th, you can explore the area with a guided tour of Fortino Belvedere and the historical sites of the battle. On Thursday, April 30th, the official ceremony in Piazza Municipio includes a flag-raising, commemorations, and institutional speeches. Finally, on Saturday, May 30th, the Auditorium will host the brilliant dialect comedy “La Morosa Foresta”.
