On the 60th anniversary of the 1966 flood, one of the most dramatic events in the recent history of the Trentino region, the MUSE – Science Museum in Trento hosts a series of initiatives dedicated to environmental protection and risk prevention. This commemoration offers an opportunity to explore the local history and the evolution of territorial planning.
The program includes various scientific and cultural activities. On Wednesday, November 4, at the museum located at Corso del Lavoro e della Scienza, 3, the “Geoshow: water, earth, fire” will take place from 11:00 to 16:00, featuring scientific talks and experiments on natural hazards. Simultaneously, the “Flood Alert: everyone ready!” role-playing simulation will be available. Both activities last 20 minutes and are scheduled every hour.
