A Tribute to Tradition: May Day with the Tractor Group in Lazise

The timeless charm of the village of Lazise is set to celebrate one of its most cherished traditions. May 1st, a date resonating with a deep connection to the land and its agricultural roots, will see the Lazise Tractor Group bring the village streets to life with an event dedicated to enthusiasts and the local community. It is a moment that bridges the past and the present, recalling the significance of agricultural work and the strength of communal bonds.

The day will commence with an evocative gathering, where participants will meet at the Pergola d’Oro del Garda at 09:30. Here, the air will fill with an almost palpable anticipation, as the tractors, symbols of toil and prosperity, prepare for their parade. At 11:00, these impressive agricultural vehicles will come to life, traversing the enchanting streets of Lazise in a procession that is both a display of pride and a tribute to past generations.

The culmination of this celebration will be reached with the blessing of the agricultural vehicles, a gesture of profound respect and gratitude towards the land and those who work it. This ritual, also held at the Pergola d’Oro, concludes the day in an atmosphere of shared appreciation for rural values. For those who own a tractor, an open invitation is extended to join this celebration of tradition, helping to make May Day in Lazise an authentic and memorable experience. An opportunity to immerse oneself in the community and its history within a setting of serene beauty.
