Between print and painting! at the Fondazione Museo Miniscalchi Erizzo

The artistic scene in Verona offers a unique opportunity at the Fondazione Museo Miniscalchi Erizzo. The workshop “Tra stampa e pittura!” invites participants to explore the monotype printing technique, a process that blends painting and printing to create one-of-a-kind artworks.

Scheduled for October 31st from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the session provides a historical overview and a showcase of prints by artists Ildegarda Dalla Porta and Carlo Donati, with the participation of Cecilia Zanetti. Participants will experiment with two methods on plexiglass surfaces: painting by subtraction and painting by addition, using tools such as brushes, rollers, and textured fabrics. Attendees will be guided through every step, from design and inking to the final print.
