Christmas at Avio Castle

Avio Castle is ready to host the eighth edition of Christmas at the Castle, an event that blends history, tradition, and a festive atmosphere. From November 21 to December 20, 2026, every Saturday and Sunday, as well as Monday, December 7, and Tuesday, December 8, the castle opens its doors to offer a unique experience within its historic walls. From 10:00 to 18:00, visitors can explore local craft and food and wine stalls, featuring everything from local cheeses and cured meats to wines, craft beers, and items made of wood, ceramic, and wax.

Organized by FAI Castello di Avio, the event allows guests to immerse themselves in Trentino traditions within a prestigious architectural setting. Fixed-time guided tours (at 11:00, 14:00, and 16:00) are available, along with the option for self-guided visits to the castle’s frescoed areas. To facilitate access, a shuttle service runs from Piazza Conciliazione between 09:50 and 17:30 for 3.00 euros. Dedicated parking areas for cars and buses are also provided.

Entry to the market area is free, while tickets for castle visits vary, with discounts for youth, FAI members, and residents of the Municipality of Avio. Reservations are mandatory for organized groups via FAI.
