- Starting from Rifugio Nino Pernici, follow trail SAT 402 downhill towards Malga Grassi and Campi.
- Cross Campi and continue on Strada della Luna to Località Zumiani.
- Continue on the Medium Loop towards Pranzo, a hamlet of Tenno.
- Cross Pranzo, pass the Magnone stream valley and reach Ville del Monte.
- Arrive in Canale di Tenno, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, and rejoin the Top Loop towards Rifugio San Pietro (trail SAT 406).
- Possibility to extend the route to Lake Tenno via the Medium Loop and then to Rifugio San Pietro (trail SAT 406A).
Points of interest: Malga Grassi, Campi, Pranzo, Ville del Monte, Canale di Tenno, Lake Tenno (optional), Rifugio San Pietro.
