From June 27th to September 19th, 2026, the historic Monumental Halls of the Teresiana Library in Mantua host the exhibition Giorgio Milani. Babele. Curated by Francesca Ferrari, Massimo Ferrari, and Claudia Tinazzi, the exhibition provides a profound insight into the forty-year career of the Piacenza-born artist, exploring the blurred lines between sculpture, graphic art, and the philosophy of language.
The exhibition features over 70 works, including the iconic cycles of Gutenberg Towers, Poetari, and Sindoni. Through a dense layering of signs and alphabets, Milani investigates the communicative power of forms, turning his creations into architectures of memory. The title Babele serves as a metaphor for the complexity of our time and the urgent need to build bridges of dialogue through the written word.
