Guided tours at Forte Lugagnano: the World War II Museum

The Cultural Association “Vivere la storia” presents guided tours of the museum “The Second World War in Verona”, located at Forte Lugagnano in Sona. The visits are scheduled on a monthly basis, specifically on October 4th, November 15th, and December 6th, starting at 10:00 AM.

Lasting approximately one hour and 30 minutes, the tour is led by historical reenactors in period uniforms. The museum features an interactive section that allows visitors to experience a bomber simulator during the bomb-dropping phase and explore an air-raid shelter under attack, providing a unique perspective on the city’s history during the conflict.

Admission is free of charge. Please note that the last entry is permitted no later than one hour before closing time. For groups, extraordinary openings and guided tours on other dates can be arranged by contacting the association via email at segreteria@viverelastoria.it. The museum is closed for holidays during the months of July and August.
