In Cammino con Maria: spirituality and tradition in San Felice del Benaco

On August 14th, San Felice del Benaco hosts a moment of deep reflection and artistic beauty. On the eve of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Institute of the Little Sisters of the Holy Family opens its doors for the event titled “In Cammino con Maria” (Walking with Mary).

The evening begins at 8:00 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary, followed by the Solemn Holy Mass at 8:30 PM. The highlight of the evening is the historical reenactment “Tableaux of the childhood of Jesus and the life of Mary,” a moving procession featuring living tableaux. This representation offers a visual journey through the most significant moments of Christianity, transforming the atmosphere into a sequence of sacred images and devotion.

To facilitate attendance for both locals and visitors, the event location is easily accessible via the local free tourist bus service, allowing guests to enjoy the evening without the concerns of summer traffic. It is a unique opportunity for those wishing to rediscover the cultural and spiritual roots of the Lake Garda region in an atmosphere of rare intensity.
