On September 25th, the territory of Mantua and Sabbioneta will host a significant initiative dedicated to universal accessibility. This event focuses on projects designed to make the UNESCO World Heritage site more inclusive, ensuring that culture remains a shared asset for every visitor.
The program includes the presentation of new tactile maps and materials in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), developed through a collaborative effort between the FabLab Mantova, the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired, and scientific experts. These tools will be officially handed over to the Heritage Centre to support public access.

The event also features the debut of a comic book dedicated to Vespasiano Gonzaga, created by the Spazio Autismo group, and the screening of the video Note di Passaggio, a creative musical journey between the two towns. Part of the IT.A.CA’ Festival of Responsible Tourism, this initiative highlights how synergy between institutions and local associations can foster a truly welcoming environment, keeping the legacy of the Gonzaga family alive and accessible to everyone.
