On September 27th, 2026, the heart of Mantua will transform into an open-air stage. This urban animation initiative invites families to rediscover the city through an immersive itinerary where water, art, and nature engage with history.

The route winds through the iconic landmarks of the historic center, starting from Piazza Mantegna. Children and their parents will be involved in a role-playing game in search of the keepers of the city’s memory. From Piazza Broletto, where the famous Virgil waits in his chair, to the historic Pescherie of Giulio Romano and the majestic Castello di San Giorgio, every stop is a challenge. Riddles and tasks will allow participants to piece together the cultural mosaic of this Lombard gem.

Designed for children aged 6 to 10, this activity offers a unique opportunity to explore local heritage from a fresh perspective. Two tour slots are available at 10:30 am and 4:30 pm.
