November 4th Celebrations in Sirmione

The municipality of Sirmione pays tribute to the National Unity and Armed Forces Day. The celebrations will take place on November 7th with a solemn program dedicated to honoring those who fell in all wars.

The day’s schedule includes several commemorative events. At 2:00 PM, a wreath will be laid at the Fallen Soldiers’ Chapel at the Cemetery, followed at 2:45 PM by the raising of the flag at the Fallen Soldiers’ Bell in San Pietro in Mavino. At 3:30 PM, the ceremony will continue at the Monument to the Knights of Vittorio Veneto in Via Ortigara, featuring commemorative speeches by the authorities. This will be followed by Holy Mass at 4:00 PM. In case of bad weather, the Mass will be held at 5:00 PM at the church of Santa Maria di Lugana.
