On October 16, 2026, San Giovanni Lupatoto hosts a stage of the PIASE festival, now in its 6th edition. Promoted by the Ecomuseo Pianura Veronese, the festival aims to highlight the Pianura dei Dogi territory through cultural experiences and community engagement.
The program on Via Roma begins at 6:30 PM with “Otobre Otobreto in cantina o soto el portegheto”, featuring dramatic readings curated by Davide Colombini of the Altri Posti in Piedi company and Ecomuseo Aquae Planae, based on Dino Coltro’s book “Santi e Contadini”. This event is free of charge.

At 7:45 PM, a “Backstage Dinner” will take place in the Ridotto of the Teatro Astra, organized by Bar Lo Spuntino and Bar Da Giulietta. The menu features finger food, risotto al tastasale, and Torta della Pace di Paquara, served with wine, water, and coffee. This activity is open to families; reservations are mandatory, and the cost is € 30.00.
The evening continues at 9:00 PM with the performance “Pugnetto. Storia di un bambino di pane” by Marco Pomari and Noemi Valentini, based on Dino Coltro’s tale. It is a poetic exploration of nature and friendship.
