Raggi di Design: The Evolution of the Bicycle in Torbole sul Garda

The exhibition Raggi di Design offers an insightful journey through the evolution of the bicycle, an object that has seamlessly bridged the gap between engineering and aesthetics over the last century. Hosted at the former Colonia Pavese in Torbole sul Garda, the showcase features fifty iconic models selected for their material innovation and revolutionary technical applications.

This research originates from the Carosini Collection, an extraordinary assembly of two hundred pieces that highlights the intersection of technological progress and design. The exhibition stands out on the international stage, displaying bicycles worthy of modern art museums alongside cutting-edge innovations, such as the New01Bike, the world’s first bicycle with a 3D-printed polymer frame, created by the startup eXgineering.

Supported by the Municipality of Nago-Torbole and the Autonomous Region of Trentino-Alto Adige, this exhibition invites visitors to appreciate how technical design transcends its function to become a work of art. Admission is free from September 5th to October 25th, 2026, with opening hours from Thursday to Saturday (4:00 PM to 8:00 PM) and Sunday (3:00 PM to 9:00 PM).
