This variant offers an alternative to the main route, connecting the junction for Malga Mezavia with Prà della Fava via Malga Brigolina. The route starts on a comfortable forest road up to Malga Brigolina. From here, continue uphill along a section of the SAT628 trail until you reach Prà della Fava. This deviation winds slightly lower than the Selva forest road, offering a different perspective on the surrounding landscape.
