Solar Itinerant Cinema: the magic of the big screen under the stars

On August 28th and 29th, 2026, the charming setting of Fornace, near Trento, hosts the Solar Itinerant Cinema. This initiative transforms open spaces into open-air theaters, offering an authentic shared experience deeply connected to the local landscape.

The evenings begin on August 28th at the Terrazza Belvedere of Monte Piano with the screening of “The Sea”, a moment of reflection dedicated to an adult audience. The program continues the following day at the Pian del Gac Village playground, where the atmosphere becomes convivial thanks to the opening of the “Officina Clandestina”, a wooden toy funfair that precedes the dinner organized by the Pro Loco. The evening concludes with “Sirocco and the Kingdom of the Winds”, an animation film designed to enchant children.

Admission is free, and the event invites guests to rediscover the pleasure of community gatherings. In case of rain, the event will move to the Alpini tent in Pian del Gac. We highly recommend bringing a blanket to enjoy the screening in total comfort.
