Trento and its surrounding territory prepare to host a special edition of Stone Sentinels (Sentinelle di Pietra). This cultural festival, promoted by the Autonomous Province of Trento in collaboration with the Museo storico del Trentino Foundation and the S. Chiara Cultural Center, turns ancient fortifications into stages for reflection.

Starting August 23, 2026, the circuit of forts will become a meeting point between history and the present. The artistic program ranges from theatre to readings, offering the public the opportunity to engage with experts on history and global conflicts in settings of rare beauty. Every event, all with free admission, aims to enhance the architectural and historical heritage, transforming these defensive structures into living spaces for dialogue and cultural exploration.
