The 45th Bolognano Music Review: A Harmonious Experience in Arco

The 45th Bolognano Music Review stands as a distinguished fixture in the cultural calendar of Arco, nestled within the captivating Garda Trentino region. Renowned for its exceptional quality, this edition is poised to enchant both local and international audiences with a series of high-calibre concert performances. This enduring event is made possible through the invaluable voluntary commitment and the dedicated support of the Culture Department of the Municipality of Arco, which consistently champions this commendable initiative.

All concerts are hosted within the evocative neo-Gothic parish church of Bolognano, an architectural gem celebrated by musicians for its perfect acoustics. This remarkable sonic quality is often attributed to its magnificent coffered wooden ceiling, which masterfully enhances the sound, enveloping listeners in an almost transcendental auditory experience.

This year’s programme features two evenings of profound musical beauty. On Saturday, July 4th, at 9:00 PM, the Camerata Musicale “Città di Arco,” under the direction of Sebastiano de Salvo, with soloists Alessia Pallaoro on violin and Eleonora De Poi on viola, will perform symphonies by Mozart and Schubert. These timeless masterpieces are sure to resonate with grace and power within the sacred space. The following evening, Sunday, July 5th, also at 9:00 PM, the VIOLIN AND ORGAN DUO, featuring violinist Barbara Aichner and organist Filippo Manci, will present a repertoire spanning Bach to Corelli, and Mozart to Rheinberger. It promises a musical journey through diverse eras and styles, an opportunity to be transported by the magic of classical music in a truly timeless setting.
