From February 9 to February 13, 2027, the city of Verona hosts the play “La moglie fantasma” at the Teatro Nuovo. This brilliant piece by David Tristram, directed by Marco Rampoldi, stars Maria Grazia Cucinotta and Pino Quartullo, joined by Giorgio Verduci, Giorgio Centamore, Roberta Petrozzi, and the special participation of Alessandra Faiella.
The story follows Ruby, who was found lifeless after a party. Exactly one year later, her ghost appears to her ex-husband Edward, a struggling playwright and the only person who can see and hear her, revealing that she was murdered. Edward decides to help her uncover the truth. He gathers the guests from the previous year’s party to reenact the events, hoping to expose the killer through their reactions. Set in the middle of a freezing winter, the play blends mystery and comedy with a series of hilarious moments and plot twists.
