The Grinch’s House in Riva del Garda

Riva del Garda prepares to welcome a very original guest. At the Bastione, the grumpiest and most bizarre character of the holiday season has decided to settle in for the winter: it is the Grinch’s House. Together with his faithful dog Max, the protagonist has transformed this historic location into a winter home waiting to be explored.

The event takes place on selected dates between December 4, 2026, and January 6, 2027. Visitors will have the opportunity to snoop around the house when the owner is out causing mischief. For the brave ones, there is also the chance to meet the Grinch in person on specific days, with free entry and no reservation required.

To reach the Bastione, you can use the panoramic lift. The round-trip ticket price starts at € 10.00. Free admission is available for children up to 11 years old and for people with disabilities. The event is organized by Garda Dolomiti S.P.A. – Azienda per il Turismo. Inside the venue, visitors can take part in the Game Hunt, an interactive activity via smartphone, or visit the Grinch’s Shop to purchase themed gadgets and souvenirs.
