In Trento, Palazzo della Provincia hosts from September 5, 2022, to May 9, 2030, the exhibition dedicated to the history of Trentino’s autonomy. “La Provincia si racconta” (The Province tells its story) is an open and continuously updated project that narrates the history and present of the Autonomous Province of Trento: its identity, transformations, and functioning. A permanent journey that, through stations and installations, offers a plurality of contents and languages, inviting the visitor to retrace 50 years of history of autonomy through the development of skills acquired with the Second Statute of 1972.
The exhibition proposes a chronological reconstruction of the key passages of this half-century, enriched by graphs illustrating the growth of the provincial system. The central element of the exhibition is the testimonies of women and men who work or have worked in the Province, or in the bodies and sectors that compose it. This mosaic of personal stories, intertwined with the history of the institution, allows us to grasp the sense of belonging, the spirit of service and the transformations that have affected it.

Organized like an Instagram profile, patstories, the exhibition is also visible on social networks. A focus is dedicated to Sala Depero, the flagship of the artistic heritage of the legislative body of the Province, commissioned in the 1950s to the futurist Fortunato Depero.
