Walk among the olive trees in Illasi

The Municipality of Illasi invites you to join the Walk among the olive trees, an event dedicated to discovering the local area and its cultural heritage. The meeting is scheduled for October 25th at 09:00 at the Frantoio Ballarini.

The walk follows a loop route of approximately 8 kilometers. During the itinerary, participants will visit the Sanctuary of San Colombano, allowing them to appreciate the historical and scenic beauty of the surroundings. The event also celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Frantoio Ballarini, which will host extra virgin olive oil tastings to deepen the understanding of this traditional product.

At the end of the morning, the Pro Loco of Illasi will host a social gathering featuring risotto, offering an opportunity to rediscover local gastronomic traditions. This initiative is designed to highlight the deep bond between the Illasi territory and olive production, celebrating the dedication of producers and the beauty of the natural landscape.
