55th Chestnut Festival in San Mauro di Saline

The municipality of San Mauro di Saline is getting ready to host the 55th edition of the traditional Chestnut Festival, scheduled for October 24th and 25th. Organized by the Pro Loco San Mauro di Saline, this event celebrates one of the most iconic and beloved products of the local area.

During the event, which will take place under covered structures, visitors will have the opportunity to taste fresh and roasted chestnuts at the various food and wine stands. The program includes numerous activities for all ages, including a dedicated children’s area with inflatables, musical entertainment, and religious services. Highlights include the “Marrone San Mauro” competition and the parade of authorities, accompanied by the historical group of Sbandieratori di Medaglino San Vitale.

Admission to the festival is free. For those arriving by car, ample parking is available in the cemetery area.
