A Day of Family Joy at Parco del Monte Rocca: The Family Festival in Caldiero

In Caldiero, the community prepares for a special occasion, a moment dedicated to the beating heart of every society: the family. The fifth edition of the Family Festival promises to be an unforgettable day, set amidst the serene greenery of Parco del Monte Rocca. This initiative, passionately promoted by the Municipality of Caldiero and the Municipal Family Council, is designed to celebrate bonds and create new memories.

On Sunday, May 17, from 10 AM to 6 PM, the park will come alive with a rich program of activities, the result of collaboration among numerous local associations. The day will begin with a warm welcome from local authorities, followed by melodies from the Fanfara Sezionale di Verona Banda Alpina “Città di Caldiero” and harmonies from the “Maria Immacolata” choir of Stra’. The “10+” music group will then add a contemporary touch.

Throughout the day, association stands will offer opportunities for insight, entertainment, and awareness, fostering a connective fabric between visitors and the local area. For lunch, affordable options will be available, or visitors can choose a relaxing picnic among the trees.

The afternoon holds further surprises, from an engaging Napoleonic-themed game, organized by the historical group “Banca del Ricordo” with “Caldiero Più Sport” and “Caldiero Più Verde,” to scientific initiatives for observing the sun with telescopes. There will also be visits to the municipal apiary, animated readings, and a drawing contest for the youngest guests, with prizes and a small exhibition later at the library. The day will conclude with the enchanting Cindy’s Bubble Show, where children can also learn to create their own magic. An event that underscores the importance of togetherness, rediscovering the value of sharing and nature.
