A.N.A. National Mountain Relay Race Championship in Brentonico

The Alpini Group of Brentonico, in collaboration with the ANA section of Trento, organised the 45th edition of the A.N.A. National Mountain Relay Race Championship. The event took place on 9 and 10 September in Brentonico.

The race, dedicated to ordinary members (Alpini), associates and military personnel serving in the Alpine Troops, was divided into three sections, with a development of 7,500 metres and a total height difference of approximately 340 metres. The start and finish were set at the Parco C. Battisti in Brentonico.

The programme included the distribution of bibs, the raising of the flag, a parade through the streets of the centre with honour to the fallen, a Holy Mass at the camp and a welcome aperitif with the Coro Soldanella. On Sunday, the race took place, followed by the Alpine rancio and the awards ceremony.

The members of the relay teams, male, female or mixed, had to belong to the same ANA section. For more information and details on the regulations, please visit www.ana.it and www.anatn.it.
