Andrea Jori. Fenomenology of Pinocchio in Verona

To celebrate the bicentenary of the birth of Carlo Lorenzini Collodi, the Fondazione Centro Studi Campostrini in Verona presents the exhibition “Andrea Jori. Fenomenologia di Pinocchio”. The exhibition runs from October 25 to December 20, 2026, showcasing a rigorous artistic study of the Pinocchio myth.

The exhibition path traces over fifty years of the career of the Mantuan artist Andrea Jori through oil paintings, acrylics, graphic works, and mixed-media sculptures. Collodi’s work is interpreted as a universal archetype of human metamorphosis, capable of reflecting the tensions of contemporary man and the challenges of the digital age. The puppet becomes an allegory of the human condition, transcending the boundaries of the literary tale.

The exhibition is open to the public at the Centro Studi Campostrini with the following hours: Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 12:00 and 14:30 to 17:00, and Saturday and Sunday from 14:30 to 17:00.
