Pregasina Loop: Punta Larici and Malga Palaer

A spectacular loop hike starting from Pregasina, leading you to Punta Larici, one of the most iconic panoramic points of Lake Garda. This route offers breathtaking views, but requires caution in some exposed sections.

The SAT 422A “Senter de la Costa” trail is classified as EE (Expert Hikers) due to its exposure and sections equipped with metal ropes. If you suffer from vertigo or have no mountain experience, consider the alternative path through the forest (SAT 422) or rely on a mountain guide.

From Bocca Larici, the route continues through the forest, touching Malga Palaer (no longer active) before returning to Pregasina, completing the loop.

Tips: Don’t miss the view from the Regina Mundi statue, an exceptional panoramic point on the northern shore of the lake.

• Starting point: Pregasina
• Route: From the church above the Pregasina car park, follow the forest road (SAT 422) to Calcheròle, then take trail 422A to Punta Larici. Return via Malga Palaer (422B) and then trail 422.
• Warnings: EE route, requires experience. Always check the weather and trail conditions before starting.
