In the heart of Verona, the Teatro Laboratorio comes alive with the children’s show “The Cook with the Wooden Leg” on April 12th. A theatrical experience that promises to enchant the little ones (and not only). Two cooks narrate with joy and a hint of melancholy the story of a hidden treasure.
The scene opens on a particular kitchen, full of pots and forks, but strangely devoid of food. To appease the children’s hunger, the cooks decide to share an enthralling story. The protagonist is the cook with the wooden leg, inspired by the famous Long John Silver from “Treasure Island” by Robert Louis Stevenson. Accompanying him on this culinary adventure are the other characters from the novel, including a cat and a parrot.
