Cima Rocca: Thrills and History in Ledro
An exciting hike for experienced hikers, along the Garda side of the Ledro Alps. Cima Rocca offers breathtaking views and a dive into the history of the Great War.
In 1916, this area was the scene of intense clashes between Italian and Austro-Hungarian soldiers. The church of San Giovanni, the Bivacco Arcioni and the trenches testify to this historical period.

Route: From Biacesa, follow Via del Dazì, Via dei Toiane and Via per Caregna. Take the SAT 417 path, then the SAT 460 towards the church of San Giovanni and the Bivacco Arcioni. Continue on the SAT 471 path through the tunnels to Cima Rocca. Descend on the SAT 405 bis path and return on the SAT 417 path towards Biacesa.
Safety: Route with exposed sections and safety ropes. Not suitable for those suffering from vertigo. Appropriate clothing and equipment are recommended.
