Compartimos: An Argentinian Dream in Riva del Garda

Immerse yourself in the sounds and stories of Argentina with “Compartimos,” a special event in Riva del Garda. Part of the “Paesaggi Sonori – Musiche dal Mondo in Valle dei Laghi” festival, this theatrical performance offers an intimate and engaging look at the experience of Argentinian Trentinos.

Maria Vittoria Barrella, a passionate narrator, shares the stories of those rooted in both lands, exploring what they preserve, what they forget, and what they long for. On stage, musician Lorenzo Bernardi creates a soundtrack that weaves Italian and Trentino melodies with Argentinian ones, creating a sonic bridge between cultures.

The dramaturgy, curated by Maura Pettorruso, draws inspiration from Maria Vittoria’s diaries, enriched by interviews and historical insights. “Compartimos” celebrates active citizenship and emigration as cultural enrichment, promoting understanding of common roots and the importance of diversity.
