From April 6 to April 10, 2027, the Verona Teatro Nuovo will host the play “Contrazioni pericolose”. This performance is part of the 28th edition of “DIVERTIAMOCI A TEATRO”, a renowned event organized by the Municipality of Verona in collaboration with the Teatro Stabile di Verona – Centro di Produzione Teatrale.
Written and directed by Gabriele Pignotta, the comedy features Rocío Muñoz Morales, Giorgio Lupano, and Gabriele Pignotta himself. The story unfolds in a Roman delivery room, where a woman in labor is accompanied by a close friend from whom she had hidden her pregnancy. The bond between the two main characters, whose names are mirror images of each other (Martina Massimo and Massimo Martina), hides deep feelings that are set to explode during the delivery, observed by the cynical and ironic obstetrician, Francesco.
