A circular hike with breathtaking views from Lake Garda to the Dolomites
Starting from the gentle meadows of Passo Bordala, this hike will lead you through the Val di Gresta, on paths that wind steeply up to the ridge that divides the Adige valley from the Sarca valley. From here, you can reach the Marchetti refuge and the summit of Monte Stivo, admiring enchanting views ranging from Lake Garda to the majestic Dolomites.
The descent winds down the opposite side, crossing the town of Sant’Antonio and returning to the starting point through splendid beech and fir forests. With a bit of luck, you might spot chamois or black grouses.
