Day of Reuse and Used Books in Trento: An Opportunity for a Circular Economy

The city of Trento comes alive with the “Days of Reuse of Used Books and More…”, an event dedicated to sustainability and culture. Piazza Dante transforms into a lively market where twenty-five stalls offer used books, collectibles, postcards, prints, holy cards, stamps, comics, magazines, and, new this year, vinyl records.

A free book exchange point is available to everyone, further encouraging reuse and sharing. At 11:30 AM, a guided tour of the recently restored Trento railway station offers a look at Angelo Mazzoni’s project and Cesarina Seppi’s mosaics. The meeting point is at Liber Café in Piazza Dante.

Now in its thirty-second edition, the initiative will also take place in case of bad weather and will be repeated on April 18, May 2 and 30, September 19 and October 31, 2026. Organized by the Associazione Trentina Mercatino delle Pulci in collaboration with the Municipality of Trento, this day promotes the circular economy and a more conscious use of resources.
