Immerse yourself in the nature of Vallagarina with your faithful four-legged friend. The Rovereto Tourist Board organizes a unique experience: dog trekking guided by an expert dog trainer. Combine the love for hiking with the knowledge of good dog behavior practices, better dealing with everyday situations.
Three unmissable dates in 2026:
- March 21st: Monteghello and the Bosco della Città, focusing on leash management.
- April 25th: Lake Cei, exploring the well-being of dogs in water.
- May 23rd: Baldo and Malga Campo, learning detachment management and meeting other breeds.
The walks, lasting 3-4 hours, have accessible differences in height and are designed for the well-being of dogs and people. Harmony is the primary goal, therefore aggressive dogs, dogs in heat or puppies under 6 months are not allowed.

The cost of €35 per couple (dog + person) includes the guided trek, the lesson with the dog trainer and a surprise gift for your furry friend. And for those who participate in all three dates, an urban trekking is up for grabs.
Don’t forget to bring everything you need for your dog and for you: food, water, harness, elastic leash, mountain clothing and hiking boots. In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed or canceled with a full refund.
