“Don Camillo” at the Teatro Peroni in Verona: a Timeless Classic

The Teatro Peroni in Verona is preparing to host an Italian literary classic, “Don Camillo”, in a theatrical reinterpretation by the Teatro che Pazzia company from Treviso. The event, scheduled for March 14, 2026, at 9 PM, closes the Evoluzioni season, a project promoted by the Department of Culture of the Municipality of San Martino Buon Albergo, which has combined great classics and new scenic experiences.

The show, inspired by the world created by Giovanni Guareschi, promises to bring back to the audience the atmosphere of the Bassa Padana, with its themes of faith, community, and human interaction, approached with irony and depth. Marco Sartorello, Paolo Rozzi, and Dario Bressan will bring iconic characters to life, with contemporary sensitivity and respect for the original work.
