In Buttapietra, from May 1st to 3rd, 2026, the strawberry will be celebrated in all its forms. “Fragolosa” is an event dedicated to food and wine culture, history, and fun, with a special focus on the delicious red fruit. Producers from the Verona area will gather to exhibit their best strawberries, competing for the title of “Best Fragolosa 2026”, judged by a jury of experts.
The program is rich and varied: it starts on Friday with the “MAMI RUN” and a Ferrari exhibition. There will be food stands, the election of Mr. and Miss Fragolino, and an evening dedicated to the ’90s. On Saturday, there will be cooking workshops for children and the official opening ceremony. The day concludes with an Afro-themed DJ set. On Sunday, you can admire vintage agricultural vehicles and trucks, visit the strawberry exhibition, attend the awards ceremony, and dance during “Farmer Night”.
