Galleria Riccabona: A Journey Through the History of the Great War
A simple yet historically rich route, leading from Malga Trat to the slopes of Mazza di Pichea, where fortifications from the First World War are located. This strategic position dominated Val Concei, while Bocca di Trat and Saval were important logistics centers for the Austro-Hungarian army.
The gallery is dedicated to Ludwig Riccabona, commander of the Kaiserjäger stationed in Valle di Ledro. Along the way, you can admire commemorative crosses and a faithful reconstruction of a military outpost, offering a touching glimpse into the lives of soldiers at the front.

- Route: Follow the dirt road towards the malga and continue to Bocca di Trat. Take trail SAT 420 towards Mazza di Pichea.
