GardaTrek Low Loop 2: A Historical Journey from Arco to Riva del Garda

The second stage of the GardaTrek Low Loop closes the circle, bringing you back to Riva del Garda and exploring the eastern side of Garda Trentino. This route winds through ancient communication routes, witnesses of centuries of history and legends.

• Strada di Santa Lucia: Follow in the footsteps of the Venetians who transported their galleys in the 15th century.
• Bosco Caproni: Discover the ancient oolite quarries, now rock climbing gyms, and the history of Gianni Caproni, a pioneer of aeronautics.
• Belvedere di Nago: Admire the breathtaking panorama of the northern Lake Garda.

This itinerary intersects with the “Hidden Treasures” of Garda Trentino, offering you the chance to retrace Goethe’s steps or explore the Blue Line, the last German defensive line during World War II.
