Grand Gala of the Archduke with Habsburg Dinner in Riva del Garda

Riva del Garda is preparing for a journey into the elegance of the 19th century with the Grand Gala of the Archduke with Habsburg Dinner. On September 5, 2026, a special evening celebrating history, music, dance, and tradition will animate the town.

The highlight of the event is a dance evening with historical 19th-century music, preceded by a captivating parade through the streets of the historic center of Arco. The Banda Musicale di Praso will open the procession, followed by figures in period costumes from the Arco Asburgica dance group. Piazza Segantini will serve as the stage for historical 19th-century dances, involving the audience in authentic choreographies of the time.

But not only dance: from 4:00 PM, the squares will come alive with local and Trentino artists exhibiting their works, the embroiderers of the Arco Ricamatrici Association, and wooden games for children, curated by figures in peasant clothes. Spaces dedicated to local agricultural producers, hobbyists, and a Habsburg dinner with the sale of strauben, delicacies prepared by the Donne Rurali di Rango volunteer association, will complete the offering.

A unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the rural past of Arco, among artisans, period games, and artisanal objects that evoke the daily life of a bygone era.
