On October 18th, starting at 2:00 PM, the Grotta di Fumane will exceptionally open to the public for the event “In the sky of the Paleolithic”. This is a unique opportunity to explore the connection between birds of prey and Neanderthals in an afternoon dedicated to science, archaeology, and nature.
The schedule includes guided tours of the cave at 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 5:15 PM, led by archaeologists who will explain the relationship between prehistory and avifauna. A professional falconer will be present for close encounters with eagles and hawks, with flight demonstrations scheduled at 4:00 PM and 5:15 PM. Additionally, workshops on stone chipping and prehistoric art will be available.

Participation requires mandatory online booking at prenota.archeovea.it. The full ticket price is 10 euros, while the reduced ticket for children aged 6 to 12 is 7 euros.
