Introducing the Opera – Buonconsiglio Castle

The “Introducing the Opera” initiative at Buonconsiglio Castle in Trento offers an immersion into the museum’s heritage every second Wednesday of the month. At 5:30 PM, a work is unveiled to the public in a relaxed atmosphere, remaining on display in Sala Vescovi for the following weeks. On March 11th, the meeting explores the dialogue between ancient and contemporary technology. Denis Ton, museum curator, will lead a comparison starting from the Bell of Canon Gerolamo Roccabruna, attributed to Vincenzo Grandi and Gian Gerolamo Grandi. Matteo Perini, an engineer from the ProM Facility of Trentino Sviluppo, will share his experience in 3D printing the artifact. The event explores how new technologies can enhance historical and artistic heritage, opening up reflections on the opportunities and challenges of this interaction. The evening concludes with an aperitif in the Refettorio clesiano, offered by the Museum Cafeteria.
