The first stage of the Ledro Alps Trek, from Storo to Tremalzo, is an unforgettable experience amidst breathtaking landscapes and historical evidence. This challenging route will lead you through the wild Valle del Chiese and the picturesque Valle di Ledro, offering unforgettable views.

• Arrival point: Passo Tremalzo (1892 m)

• Duration: 10 hours
• Elevation gain: 2469 m

The trail winds through lush forests, tunnels carved into the rock, and trenches dating back to the Great War, testimonies of a troubled past. Reaching the open spaces of Tremalzo, you will be surrounded by a unique flora, with numerous endemic species that make this area a true botanical garden. Don’t forget to visit the Tremalzo visitor center to learn more about the local fauna, flora, and traditions.

At Passo Tremalzo you can refresh yourself and stay overnight at the Albergo Garda or the Rifugio Garibaldi. To break up the route, the Alpo bivouac represents an excellent alternative halfway.
