Malga Movlina and Rifugio XII Apostoli: Trekking in the Heart of the Brenta Dolomites
An unforgettable hike in the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, amidst breathtaking views and the majesty of the Dolomites. This loop trail will lead you from the picturesque Malga Movlina to the Rifugio XII Apostoli, an iconic place nestled in the rock.

The trail winds through Val d’Algone, a true natural paradise rich in flora and fauna. You can admire roe deer, chamois and marmots in their natural habitat. The route is well marked (SAT 354 and 307) and offers unforgettable panoramic views of the Carè Alto and Presanella glaciers.
The last part of the route, leading to the Rifugio XII Apostoli, has some sections on rocks equipped with fixed ropes (Scala Santa) and a steep scree slope. The refuge, with its chapel carved into the rock, is a place of great charm and deserves a stop to admire the view and refresh yourself.
The return is via trail SAT 341, which cuts across the slopes of Pala dei Mughi and offers a spectacular view of the Val d’Algone.
