Hike to Monte Altissimo di Nago: An Unforgettable Experience
Embark on a breathtaking adventure on Monte Altissimo di Nago, a panoramic balcony overlooking Lake Garda. This itinerary, starting from the upper station of the Malcesine Monte Baldo cable car (Tratto Spino), will lead you through alpine landscapes of rare beauty.
Route: Follow trail marker 651 northwards, passing the ski lifts and continuing along the ridge of Monte Baldo. Admire the views that have made this mountain famous. After a short descent, you will reach the Rifugio di Bocca Navene. Continue on trail 651, crossing a forest and then the ridges of Lastè di Tolghe. A section on a military road will finally lead you to the Altissimo refuge.
