The Diapason Musical Association presents the sixteenth National Musical Competition “Città di Bardolino“, an event dedicated to young musical talents. From May 7th to 10th, 2026, the former Disciplina church in Bardolino will transform into a stage for budding concert performers, assessed by industry experts.
Founded in the 70s and revived by maestro Giuseppe Fricelli, the competition will welcome over a hundred competitors from all over Europe, ready to compete in the categories of piano, violin, viola, cello, guitar, flute, accordion, horn, clarinet, and bassoon. The competition also aims to honor the memory of Jan Langosz and Nicolino Branciforti, important figures for Bardolino.

Every evening, for three days, at 9 PM, the Sala della Disciplina will host free concerts by the winners. During the day, the public can attend the contestants’ auditions, also with free admission.
