On April 16th, the Teatro Camploy in Verona hosts “Paradiž”, an emotional play by Matteo Spiazzi. Through the universal language of bodies and masks, the show celebrates the beauty of life, addressing themes such as loneliness and the mystery of death.
Set in a nursing home in a small Slovenian town, the play intertwines the stories of the residents, recounting isolation, illness, and regrets. Life is observed from the perspective of proximity to death, transforming silence into language. Every gesture, glance, and pause becomes a possible word.
Panoramic Banana signs a contemporary fable, inspired by true stories and built on a play of masks reminiscent of the commedia dell’arte. Between melancholy and irony, the show reveals the hidden delicacy in small gestures and human fragility.
