“Pimpa. The Polka Dot Musical” Enchants Bardolino: A Family Adventure

The Teatro Corallo in Bardolino transformed into a world of fantasy with “Pimpa. The Polka Dot Musical”, a Fondazione AIDA ETS production celebrating the 50th anniversary of the beloved red polka-dotted puppy, Pimpa, created by Altan.

Directed by Enzo d’Alò, a renowned animation film director, the show offered a unique theatrical experience, blending music, puppets, and costumes in an explosion of creativity. Altan himself expressed enthusiasm for Pimpa’s new adventure, emphasising how the musical represents a further opportunity to embrace new experiences.

The show, designed for audiences of all ages, tells of an unexpected encounter between Pimpa and William Shakespeare, catapulting viewers on a journey between dream and reality. The original music by Eleonora Beddini added a further layer of magic, creating an engaging and poetic atmosphere.
