Punta Larici: A Balcony over Lake Garda
Let yourself be enchanted by the breathtaking view from Punta Larici, a true balcony overlooking Lake Garda. This route will give you unforgettable views, ranging from the northern tip of the lake, with Riva del Garda and Monte Brione, to the wider waters to the south.
The excursion starts from the picturesque village of Pregasina, a hamlet of Riva del Garda, perched on the slopes of the mountain and belonging to the territory of Valle di Ledro.
Route Details
- Starting Point: Pregasina
- From the small church in Pregasina, take the forest road to Malga Palaer.
- Then take trail SAT 422 B which leads to Punta Larici.
- Continue on the trail until you reach Malga Palaer.
- At Passo Rocchetta, take trail SAT 422 towards Pregasina.
- At the intersection with trail SAT 429, take the latter and rejoin the forest road that leads back to Pregasina.
Tips: During the ascent to Pregasina, don’t miss the opportunity to visit the Regina Mundi statue, another unmissable panoramic point on the lake.
Warnings: The SAT 422 B trail leading to Punta Larici is exposed and requires attention. It is recommended to wear appropriate footwear and bring the necessary equipment for a mountain hike.
