San Bernardo Festival in Garda: Tradition and Flavors of Lake Garda

The San Bernardo Festival in Garda is a historical event that celebrates the traditions of Lake Garda. The festival commemorates the passage of San Bernardo through the town, and, as is customary, on August 20th, the Division of Common Goods of the Corporation of the Ancient Natives of Garda is renewed.

Starting at 7:00 PM, the area around the picturesque church of San Bernardo comes alive with food stands offering local specialties. You can taste delicacies such as tagliatelle with rabbit, seafood spaghetti, grilled whitefish, and the succulent picanha. For the little ones, a small amusement park nearby adds a touch of fun. The event is the result of collaboration between the Municipality of Garda, the Pro Loco, and the volunteers of the Contrada di San Bernardo, united to celebrate the history and flavors of the territory.
