Nosiola Trail 3: An Immersion between Lake Cavedine and Vineyards

The third stage of the Nosiola Trail offers a unique experience between the picturesque Lake Cavedine and the enchanting Cavedine. This route winds along a quiet secondary road, bordered by characteristic dry stone walls, leading halfway up the slope through a harmonious succession of cultivations and private residences.

During the excursion, nature reveals itself in all its lush beauty, caressed by the Ora del Garda, a beneficial wind that favors the growth of Nosiola vineyards. Here, mountain species such as pines, firs and beeches coexist in perfect harmony with the Mediterranean essences of holm oaks and olive trees, creating a fascinating and varied landscape.

Lake Cavedine, born from an ancient landslide of Mounts Brento and Casale, offers a breathtaking spectacle with its waters of a thousand shades. Hydrologically connected to the lakes of S. Massenza and Toblino via the Rimone stream, it now plays an important role as a decentralization basin for hydroelectric production.
